Holiday Engagement is a romantic comedy about Hillary Burns, a thirty-something woman desperate to escape her family's shadow. When her fiancé Jason abruptly ends their relationship over a career move, Hillary faces a Thanksgiving nightmare: she's already promised to bring him home to meet her expectant parents. Panicking at the thought of disappointing them yet again, Hillary takes her best friend Sophie's advice and hires a charming stranger to pose as Jason for the holiday. What begins as a charade quickly spirals into unexpected chemistry and uncomfortable truths. As Hillary navigates the weekend with her fake fiancé under her parents' roof, she's forced to confront what she really wants—and whether she's been chasing the wrong life all along.
