The Bloody Fists(1972)

The Bloody Fists is a kung fu action film where a martial arts expert skilled in both Chinese and Japanese fighting styles arrives in a small town caught between local farmers and Japanese mercenaries. The soldiers of fortune have been hired to seize supplies of a rare Chinese herb, tearing the community apart. The expert decides to intervene and resolve the escalating conflict. Yuen Woo Ping, who would later become one of the world's most celebrated martial arts choreographers, designed the fight sequences for this extravagant action showcase. The film blends traditional kung fu with cross-cultural combat techniques, delivering intense battles rooted in the clash between occupying forces and local resistance.
