Bye, Mr Wang! is an animated film about Jiang Mi Tiao, a 12-year-old dachshund who dies while trying to help his owner Fang Yiyi find love. Instead of moving on, Jiang Mi Tiao arrives in the afterlife world of Wang Xing, where souls are meant to forget their past lives and earthly attachments. Determined to reunite with Fang Yiyi, Jiang Mi Tiao refuses to let go of his memories and love for his owner. He embarks on a perilous journey through Wang Xing, overcoming obstacles and dangers to find his way back to the living world.
