Victory or Death(2023)

Victory or Death is a historical drama set during the French Revolution's bloodiest years. In 1793, a retired naval officer named Charette returns to his rural home only to be thrust into leadership of a peasant uprising. Reluctant at first, he transforms into a charismatic commander, rallying deserters, villagers, and families into an unlikely fighting force. What begins as local discontent evolves into a full-scale rebellion against revolutionary forces. The film chronicles Charette's rise from idle nobleman to shrewd military strategist as he leads his ragtag army through a desperate struggle for survival and freedom. Caught between duty, ambition, and the brutal realities of civil war, Charette must navigate impossible choices that will define both his legacy and the fate of those who follow him.
