There is Still a Train Coming

Arini is a German film about an unlikely encounter between two strangers on a train. When Arini, a 38-year-old student, meets Nick, a man fifteen years her junior, he quickly falls for her. But Arini has grown cynical about love after past disappointments and struggles to reciprocate his feelings. As their connection deepens during the journey, both must confront their emotional barriers—Nick's youthful optimism against Arini's hardened skepticism. The film explores whether two people at different life stages and emotional places can bridge the gap between them, or if their timing is simply wrong.
