Barnabé(1938)

Barnabé is a French comedy about mistaken identity and romantic chaos. When Barnabé, a part-time flutist, arrives to organize a young woman's twentieth birthday celebration, Mme Petit-Durand mistakes him for the Count of Marengo—a wealthy nobleman she's determined to marry off to her daughter. The daughter, however, has already chosen her own suitor and resists her mother's aristocratic ambitions.
