Cherry is a coming-of-age drama about Aaron Milton, a 17-year-old Ivy League freshman whose life complicates when he falls for Linda, a 34-year-old former wild child returning to college to rebuild her life. The situation grows messier when Aaron meets Linda's sharp-tongued 14-year-old daughter, Beth, who quickly develops her own crush on him. Caught in an awkward triangle, none of them can have what they want, yet each learns something unexpected about themselves and desire. The film explores how attraction and maturity don't always align, and how the wrong connections can still teach us something true.
