Hell is a 2016 German post-apocalyptic thriller set in a world scorched into wasteland by an intensified sun. Marie, her younger sister Leonie, and their friend Phillip drive toward the mountains in search of water—humanity's most precious resource. They pick up Tom, a skilled mechanic, but suspicion fractures the group immediately. Trust becomes a luxury none can afford when they're ambushed and forced into a brutal fight for survival. The film explores how desperation strips away civility, pitting resourcefulness against violence as the sun-ravaged landscape becomes both setting and antagonist. Tense and uncompromising, Hell examines what people will do when civilization collapses and hope dwindles to nothing.
