Matchfix(2019)

Matchfix is a Danish crime thriller about a soccer referee drawn into corruption. Per is set to officiate a junior final in Rødovre when he buys a trophy from local dealer Conny, who pressures him to fix the match. Per refuses—until he discovers a large sum of cash hidden inside the trophy at a lunch restaurant. Caught between his integrity and temptation, Per must navigate a dangerous underworld of match-fixing schemes and criminal figures. The film explores how ordinary people become entangled in crime through seemingly small compromises, building tension as Per's choices spiral beyond his control.
