Suspect is a legal thriller that unfolds when a Supreme Court judge's death is ruled a suicide and his secretary turns up murdered. A homeless, deaf and mute veteran named Carl Anderson becomes the prime suspect. Public defender Kathleen Riley takes his case and grows convinced of his innocence. When juror Eddie Sanger, a Washington lobbyist, shares her doubts, the two launch their own investigation into what really happened. As they dig deeper, they uncover a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the initial crime scene, challenging the official narrative and forcing them to question everyone involved in the case.
