Variant(2025)

Variant is a sci-fi thriller set in 2050 where the Dishi Biotechnology Company dispatches the spaceship Thunder God on a dangerous mission to capture an alien creature called Bali. During the return journey to Earth, the captain's son Jamie accidentally releases the lethal extraterrestrial, triggering a catastrophic chain of events that decimates the crew. What begins as a corporate-backed expedition transforms into a desperate fight for survival as the alien hunts through the vessel's corridors. The film explores themes of corporate ambition, human error, and the terrifying consequences of tampering with unknown life forms in the vacuum of space.
