Mr Don & Mr George(1993)

Mr Don & Mr George is a British sitcom that aired on Channel 4 in 1993. Created by and starring Moray Hunter and Jack Docherty—both known for the sketch show Absolutely—the series follows two unrelated characters who share a surname. Hunter and Docherty wrote all six episodes through their production company, Absolutely Productions. The humour leans heavily into the surreal, with ridiculous visual gags and wordplay driving each episode. Despite its cult appeal, only one series was made. The show was later released on VHS, collecting all six episodes on a single tape. Though the packaging suggested potential for more seasons, no further series materialized, leaving Mr Don & Mr George as a brief but distinctive entry in 1990s British comedy.
