The Lying Life of Adults is an Italian coming-of-age series set in 1990s Naples. Giovanna enters adolescence caught between two worlds: the refined, masked upper city and the raw, excessive lower depths. As she searches for her true self, she discovers that both versions of Naples—and the adults who inhabit them—conceal uncomfortable truths. The series follows her journey through a divided city where appearances deceive and identity remains elusive.
