Fast Times(1986)

Fast Times is a seven-episode 1986 television series that revisits the world of the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Director Amy Heckerling, who helmed the original movie, produced this remake while Cameron Crowe, author of the source novel and original screenplay, served as creative consultant. Moon Unit Zappa joined the production as a technical consultant, hired to ensure authentic teenage slang and behavior—she'd recently graduated high school herself and brought crucial insight into contemporary youth culture. Oingo Boingo composed the theme song. The series follows the interconnected lives and romantic entanglements of students navigating the social landscape of a Southern California high school, capturing the energy and humor of the original film for the small screen.
