The drama follows Chow Man-bun, a clever scholar known for cross-dressing, as he pursues Wong Sau-ying by disguising himself as a woman at a lantern festival. His plan backfires when Sau-ying's brother, the formidable Tiger Wong, becomes enchanted by his disguise and kidnaps him instead. The series blends comedy with Cantonese opera traditions, creating a lighthearted period drama filled with mistaken identities and romantic chaos. Chin Kar-lok, who plays Tiger Wong, also served as the production's action choreographer, bringing dynamic fight sequences to the story.
