Land of Wealth(2006)

Land of Wealth is a Hong Kong series following Chai Pak-tsun, the sole survivor of a disgraced political family, after his relatives are framed and executed. Seeking refuge, he becomes an apprentice at Ting Fung Shing, Shanxi's most powerful money shop, under owner Kiu Pun-yip. There he encounters Pa Pa Har Yee Ko Wah, a non-Han beauty who captures his heart, though his shyness prevents him from confessing. Complications arise when Kiu Pun-yip's daughter Kiu Tsun, who loves Cheung Shung-man—son of the Minister of Military Affairs—sees their relationship fracture as Shung-man is tasked with investigating the money shop's dealings. As secrets unravel and loyalties clash, Chai must navigate love, ambition, and the dangerous politics threatening those around him.
