TigerSharks(1987)

TigerSharks is an animated children's series from 1987 that follows a team of heroes who transform into sharks and other sea creatures to fight evil. Developed by Rankin/Bass and distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures, the show echoes the studio's earlier hits ThunderCats and SilverHawks with its action-packed premise and colorful cast. The series ran for one season of 26 episodes as part of The Comic Strip, a programming block that also featured Street Frogs, The Mini Monsters, and Karate Kat. Pacific Animation Corporation handled the animation. Warner Bros. Animation now owns TigerSharks through its acquisition of the Rankin/Bass library, making the show part of a broader collection of beloved 1980s animated properties.
