Dear John(1986)

Dear John is a British sitcom created and written by John Sullivan that aired between 1986 and 1987 across two series and a special. The show opens with John's wife leaving him for a friend, forcing him to seek new lodgings. Desperate and adrift, he joins the 1-2-1 Singles Club, where he encounters a motley crew of social misfits navigating the dating scene. The premise mines comedy from John's attempts to rebuild his life among this cast of lovable outsiders.
