Kesari Nandan(2019)

Kesari Nandan is a series about a young woman determined to become a wrestler and honor her father Hanumant's legacy. When Hanumant refuses to train girls, Kesari disguises herself as a boy to learn wrestling from him. Once her deception is revealed, the community turns against Hanumant, who responds by arranging her marriage to Jawahar—a man who demands a hefty dowry. Kesari refuses and breaks off the engagement. After a family tragedy leaves Hanumant devastated and convinced his dreams are lost, Kesari channels her resolve into rigorous training. Through sheer determination and grit, she ultimately achieves what seemed impossible: winning the India Kesari wrestling championship and proving that gender is no barrier to greatness.
