Matt Lincoln(1970)

Matt Lincoln is a medical drama that aired on ABC during the 1970–71 season. Vince Edwards stars as Dr. Matt Lincoln, a psychiatrist who runs a telephone hotline for troubled teenagers while also operating a free walk-in clinic and maintaining a private practice. The series follows Lincoln and his diverse team—Tag and Jimmy, two young counselors; Ann, a clinic volunteer; and Kevin, a cynical police officer—as they navigate mental health crises and support vulnerable youth. The show's theme song, "Hey, Who Really Cares," was composed by Oliver Nelson and Linda Perhacs, with a full version appearing on Perhacs' album Parallelograms. Despite Edwards' established reputation from previous medical dramas, Matt Lincoln failed to attract a substantial audience and was cancelled midseason.
