Rasmus and the Vagabond(1971)

Rasmus and the Vagabond is a Swedish family series following a boy who flees an orphanage and encounters Oscar, a wandering vagabond with a good heart. Oscar initially urges Rasmus to return, but eventually welcomes him into a life of travel, where they earn money through singing and odd jobs for elderly townspeople. As the pair navigate a series of perilous and unexpected adventures, they uncover a criminal scheme involving two thieves operating in the city.
