Red Storm(1979)

Red Storm is a Japanese drama series that begins when police officer Ohno Makoto finds an injured, amnesiac woman at Shinobazu Pond and gives her the temporary name Koike Shinobu. He allows her to stay at his parents' tofu shop, where he grows increasingly drawn to her resilient spirit. When detective Yamane arrives investigating a murder in Nagano—the victim being Shinobu's father—suspicion falls on her despite her stepmother's arrest. Convinced of Shinobu's guilt, Yamane pursues her relentlessly. Makoto and Shinobu embark on a journey together to uncover the true culprit and clear her name, navigating mystery, danger, and deepening connection along the way.
