The Oddball Couple is an animated Saturday morning series that aired on ABC from 1975 to 1977. Produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises in association with Paramount Television, the show serves as a cartoon adaptation of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, reimagining the classic premise with animal characters. The series debuted the same year the live-action Odd Couple was canceled by ABC, making it an unexpected continuation of the beloved property in animated form. Running for two seasons, The Oddball Couple shifted its time slot from 11:30am to noon ET in its second year, becoming a staple of weekend children's programming during the mid-1970s.
