Heatwave(2013)

Heatwave follows the Al-Agaty family through mounting tensions as a mother struggles to hold her household together. Her eldest son works as a police officer, but his volatile temperament and brutal methods put him at odds with the law and those closest to him. Her younger son, a passionate leftist activist, clashes repeatedly with his brother's authority and their family's values. As political upheaval and personal conflict collide, the family fractures under the weight of ideology, violence, and loyalty. Set against a backdrop of social unrest, the series explores how differing beliefs and dangerous impulses can tear apart even the strongest family bonds.
