Speed Grapher(2005)
Speed Grapher is an anime series set in a dystopian Tokyo where wealth inequality has created a stark divide between the rich and poor. A war photographer named Saiga, stripped of his passport and confined to Japan, infiltrates an exclusive underground club called Roppongi Club—a secret gathering place for the elite where members are promised ultimate pleasure. There he encounters Kagura, a mysterious girl being manipulated by the club's manager as its symbol. When Saiga helps her escape, he awakens a mysterious ability to kill through photography. Pursued by the club's members—individuals who have also developed supernatural powers through their desires—Saiga and Kagura embark on a desperate flight for survival. As their relationship deepens, they must uncover the truth behind Roppongi Club and Kagura's true nature while evading those determined to recapture them.
