The Brave Victory(2018)

The Brave Victory is a Chinese historical drama set in 1946 Dongbei, where civil war rages between Nationalist and Communist forces. Yang Fenghuo, a retired anti-Japanese hero, finds himself caught between competing loyalties when his blood brother Gong Wantang emerges as a bandit leader terrorizing the region. As bandits prey on ordinary citizens, military officer Song Yi arrives with orders to crush the criminal gangs. Yang Fenghuo faces an impossible choice: support his old friend or serve his country. The series explores themes of patriotism, brotherhood, and moral compromise during a turbulent period of Chinese history, following one man's journey as he navigates revolution, personal honor, and the cost of choosing sides in a fractured nation.
