Der Andere is a German crime series centered on the suspicious death of Italian frogman and scientist Paolo Rocello, discovered on a houseboat whose owner, Mr. Cooper, vanishes. The quiet English boarding school town of Medlow erupts into chaos as suspicion falls on David Henderson, a well-liked teacher, after Katherine Walter claims to have seen him aboard the vessel on the day of the murder. Yet Dr. Sheldon himself becomes implicated in the investigation. Inspectors Ford and Broderick struggle to piece together the truth until a second murder forces them to reconsider everything they thought they knew. As layers of deception unravel, the case takes an unexpected turn that challenges their assumptions about guilt and innocence.
