Infernal Affairs is a historical drama series set during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Orphan Lu Feng returns to Shanghai as a Communist undercover agent, infiltrating the Japanese-controlled No. 76 Headquarters. There he encounters the enigmatic Hua Xiang Yu and his childhood friend Huo Fei, each concealing their own allegiances. As the three navigate a treacherous web of espionage and shifting loyalties, they must confront fundamental questions about sacrifice and principle. Caught between competing ideologies and personal bonds, each character faces impossible choices that will determine not only their survival but their moral standing in a nation torn by war.
