Animal Control is a comedy series following Frank, a gruff animal control officer with an uncanny gift for understanding animals. Fired from his police job after attempting to expose departmental corruption, Frank now leads a crew of local animal handlers whose days are upended by the unpredictability of both creatures and people. Self-educated and well-read despite lacking a college degree, Frank brings cynical wisdom to his work, using his almost supernatural ability to connect with animals to navigate the messy human dynamics of his team. The show mines humor from the collision between Frank's no-nonsense approach and the chaos that erupts when animals and their owners intersect with his eccentric crew.
