Granite Harbour follows Lance Corporal Davis Lindo, a former Royal Military Police officer who arrives in Aberdeen, Scotland to begin detective training. Fresh from his final military tour, Lindo harbours ambitions of joining New Scotland Yard's elite ranks. Instead, he's posted to the North East as a Detective Constable—a far cry from his London dreams. Stripped of his uniform and thrust into unfamiliar terrain, both geographical and professional, Lindo must navigate the complexities of civilian police work while adapting to a Scottish city that challenges everything he thought he knew. The series explores his struggle to reinvent himself and prove his worth in a world that operates by entirely different rules.
