Trick or Love follows Liang Jing Cen, whose family bakery is suddenly sold to a new owner who demands an inflated price. When Jing Cen struggles to raise the funds to buy it back, the mysterious Guan Heng Wei offers financial help—but with a catch. He wants her to pose as a man and become his fake boyfriend to escape his grandmother's matchmaking schemes. Desperate to save her beloved bakery, Jing Cen agrees to the arrangement. As their fake relationship unfolds, she discovers that Guan Heng Wei's involvement may have been calculated all along, setting in motion a series of complications that blur the line between pretense and genuine feelings.
