Ya Boy Kongming! is an anime series that blends historical fantasy with modern comedy. Zhuge Liang, the legendary military strategist of ancient China's Three Kingdoms period, dies wishing to be reborn in a peaceful era without war. He awakens in present-day Tokyo, mysteriously retaining his classical robes, and discovers he's been transported roughly 1,800 years into the future. After a chance encounter with Eiko Tsukimi, an aspiring singer-songwriter, Kongming becomes enchanted by her voice and vows to repay her kindness by becoming her manager. Armed with ancient military tactics and cunning schemes, the brilliant strategist sets out to transform Eiko into a superstar, applying his legendary intellect to the modern music industry in hilariously unexpected ways.
