Hilarious Family is a Chinese comedy series following Du Ruyu, a widow of 18 years determined to secure wealthy marriages for her four daughters. Desperate to elevate their social status, she sacrifices everything to buy a house in the capital, convinced that proximity to rich suitors will guarantee advantageous matches. Instead, four unlikely men crash into their lives: Lu Buping, a military officer's son with little confidence; an arrogant prince's heir; the Fourth Prince, socially awkward but genuinely kind-hearted; and Li Tengyun, an enthusiastic but perpetually clumsy dreamer. None fit Du Ruyu's exacting standards for her daughters' futures. As these mismatched men grow closer to the family, chaos and unexpected romance unfold, challenging her rigid expectations and revealing that the best matches rarely follow the plan.
