Emergency +4(1973)

Emergency +4 is an American animated series that adapts the live-action paramedic drama Emergency! for Saturday morning television. Debuting on NBC in September 1973, the show ran for two seasons with twenty-three episodes before exiting in 1976. Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe reprised their roles as paramedics from the original series, lending their voices to the animated versions. Each adventure follows the Paramedical Rescue Service as it tackles emergencies across the city. The "+4" in the title refers to four young civilians who accompany the paramedics on rescue missions in every episode. Universal Studios partnered with Fred Calvert Productions to handle animation, as the studio lacked its own animation department at the time. The series blends action and rescue drama with a lighter, kid-friendly tone suited to its Saturday morning slot.
