BattleBots(2000)

BattleBots is a competition series where remote-controlled combat robots battle in an elimination tournament. Competitors design armored machines equipped with weapons to fight head-to-head in an arena. Matches are decided by damage, aggression, and strategy if both robots remain operational at the end. The show aired on Comedy Central from 2000 to 2002, covering five tournaments across five seasons. Hosts Bil Dwyer and Sean Salisbury guided viewers through the matches, with Bill Nye serving as technical expert and correspondents including Carmen Electra and the Sklar twins providing commentary. The series became a cult favorite for its blend of engineering spectacle and competitive drama before Comedy Central ended the show in late 2002.
