Allis med is is a Swedish series about grief, friendship, and unexpected connection. When Allis's best friend Ann dies in a road accident, the twelve-year-old withdraws from the world entirely. Sent to live with her grandparents in their large boarding house, Allis attends a new school where classmates mock her for her coldness and refusal to befriend anyone. Sigge, a Polish immigrant boy also bullied for being different, becomes an unlikely bridge when Allis discovers him caring for an injured bird. As she invites him into her world, the walls around Allis's heart begin to crack, and both the house and her inner life transform in unexpected ways. The series explores how trauma isolates us and how compassion, even small acts of kindness, can unlock healing.
