Savvopoulos Long Play is a six-episode documentary tribute to the legendary Greek musician Dionysis Savvopoulos. The series traces his musical evolution across six distinct eras, from his 1965 debut through his final years, examining ten of his most iconic albums that transformed Greek music. Savvopoulos himself narrates his own story, reflecting on the lives he lived, the people who shaped him, and the songs that left an indelible mark on generations of listeners. He performs selections from his catalogue with his distinctive guitar and voice, blending myth and personal memory in his characteristic style. Visuals by longtime collaborator Alexis Kyritsopoulos, designed specifically for this tribute and enhanced with animation, complement Savvopoulos's reflections. Conceived as his final artistic legacy, the series captures both the man and the music that defined a nation's cultural landscape.
