Nazca(1998)

Nazca is an anime series that follows Miura Kyoji, a dedicated kendo student who discovers his instructor is a reincarnated Inca warrior bent on destroying the world. Kyoji learns he too is a reincarnation—the warrior Bilka, destined to oppose his teacher just as he did centuries ago. As his instructor gathers awakened spirits to amplify his destructive power, Kyoji faces an impossible choice: accept his predetermined role and destroy someone he respects to save humanity, or forge his own path and break the cycle of rebirth that binds them both. The series explores themes of fate versus free will as Kyoji struggles between being a vessel for an ancient soul and claiming his own identity.
