The Power of Destiny(2011)

The Power of Destiny is a Mexican telenovela that aired in 2011, starring Sandra Echeverria and David Zepeda as the central couple caught in a passionate romance threatened by powerful antagonists played by Gabriel Soto, Laisha Wilkins, and others. Produced by Rosy Ocampo for Televisa, the series follows the classic telenovela formula of love, betrayal, and redemption across its run. The show became a critical success, winning five Premios TVyNovelas awards including Best Telenovela of the Year, Best Original Story, and acting honours for its leads and supporting cast. Marc Anthony and Sandra Echeverria perform the theme song, with studio footage featured in the closing credits. The Power of Destiny aired on Canal de las Estrellas from March to July 2011, then moved to Univision for a second run later that year.
