David Tench Tonight(2006)

David Tench Tonight was an Australian talk show that aired on Network Ten, built around an animated fictional host named David Tench. The character's surname was a clever anagram of "Channel Ten." Despite its novelty concept, the series struggled to find an audience and was short-lived. Tench interviewed various celebrities including Pat Rafter, Nick Lachey, Ronn Moss, Nelly Furtado, and Ella Hooper across its run. The 2006 season finale aired on 23 November, followed by a Christmas special on 25 December. Network Ten cancelled the show in 2007, ending the experiment in animated talk show hosting.
