Dear Heaven(2005)

Dear Heaven is a Korean drama about two women separated by circumstance and reunited by fate. Ji Young Sun gave up her daughter Lee Ja Kyung at birth, then built a new life with a husband and two stepchildren. After her husband's death, Young Sun struggles to hold her fractured family together. Meanwhile, Ja Kyung has grown into a lonely woman, orphaned again after losing her foster parents. When Young Sun discovers her biological daughter's identity, she becomes determined to keep her close—and devises a plan to match Ja Kyung with her stepson. What begins as a mother's desperate attempt at connection spirals into a tangle of hidden identities, forbidden feelings, and the question of whether blood truly binds us to family.
