The Naked Brothers Band(2007)
The Naked Brothers Band is a musical comedy series created by Polly Draper that blurs fiction and reality. The mockumentary follows Draper's real sons, Nat and Alex Wolff, as they lead a fictional rock band from New York City. The brothers provide vocals and write their own lyrics, while real-life friends and family members round out the ensemble—including their actual father on accordion and Draper's niece as babysitter. The show mines comedy from exaggerated versions of the siblings' genuine lives, with the camera's presence playfully acknowledged throughout. Premiering on Nickelodeon in January 2007, The Naked Brothers Band adapts Draper's 2005 film of the same name. Draper serves as executive producer, writer, and director, while her husband Michael Wolff supervises the music and co-produces alongside producer Albie Hecht.
