Hart of Dixie follows Zoe Hart, a New York medical school graduate whose surgical ambitions derail when she inherits a medical practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Expecting a quick pit stop on her way back to her real life, Zoe finds herself drawn into the quirky rhythms of small-town Southern life. As she navigates her new role as a small-town doctor, she discovers unexpected friendships, romance, and a sense of belonging she never anticipated. The series balances comedy and drama as Zoe learns that home isn't always where you planned it to be, and that sometimes life's detours lead to exactly where you need to go.
