Night Market Life(2009)

Night Market Life is a Taiwanese-language drama that premiered on Formosa TV on December 22, 2009, marking the network's first HD broadcast series. The ensemble cast includes Chen Meifeng, Morning Chang, Peng Chia-chia, Jimmy Ni, Wang Shixian, Daisy Fong, Mike Lee, and Chiang Tsu-ping. Despite its title, the series focuses less on the night market itself and more on the interconnected lives of vendors' children who form close bonds in youth, then drift apart as they mature. The show's success prompted an expansion into two generations of storytelling. The second part launched on April 7, 2010, following the original children into adulthood, complete with a new dialect-sung theme song that reflected the narrative's evolution across time.
