The Riddle of the Sands is a historical drama set against the shadow of impending war between England and Germany. Two young Englishmen, Davies and Carruthers, embark on a sailing expedition through the treacherous North German Wadden Sea, where they encounter the mysterious merchant Dollmann and his seductive daughter Clara.
