Joe vs. Joe(2003)

Joe Yuki is a celebrated DJ in Shibuya's nightlife scene, but behind the decks lies a darker truth: he leads a gang with an iron fist. Shaped by childhood trauma, Joe despises weakness and believes victory is the only path worth taking. His worldview shatters one night when he witnesses a kid—known as "the human punching bag"—taunting an elderly man. The old man's vulnerability triggers Joe's buried memories, and he impulsively challenges the kid to a fight. The confrontation ends in humiliating defeat, forcing Joe to confront the fragile ego he's built his entire life around.
