Grease: You're the One That I Want!(2007)

Grease: You're the One That I Want! is an NBC reality series that cast the lead roles of Sandy and Danny for a $10 million Broadway revival directed by two-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The show, produced by the team behind Dancing With the Stars, follows the format pioneered by Andrew Lloyd Webber's BBC series How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?. Contestants competed for the chance to star in the production, which began previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in July 2007 and officially opened that August. The revival incorporated songs from the 1978 film alongside the original Broadway score.
