The Fosters is a drama series following Stef, a police officer, and Lena, a school vice principal, as they navigate parenthood with their biological son Brandon and adopted twins Mariana and Jesus. When Lena meets Callie, a traumatized teenager cycling through the foster care system, the couple welcomes her and her younger brother Jude into their home as a temporary placement. What begins as a short-term arrangement becomes something far more complicated. The series explores the messy realities of blended family life, examining how love, loyalty, and commitment are tested when past trauma and present challenges collide.
