Cartoon Alley(2004)

Cartoon Alley is an American television series that aired on Turner Classic Movies, hosted by Ben Mankiewicz. Each Saturday morning episode presented three classic animated shorts from the 1930s–1950s, curated around a shared theme. The program drew primarily from Warner Bros., MGM, and Paramount's archives, showcasing both iconic characters like Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry alongside lesser-known figures. Mankiewicz introduced potentially controversial cartoons with contextual warnings about ethnic stereotypes. The series began as a monthly offering in November 2004 but expanded to weekly broadcasts following viewer demand. It skipped February each year due to TCM's Oscar programming and ended in autumn 2007. Shorts aired largely uncut and uncensored, preserving the Golden Age of American animation in its original form.
