Koo Duerd is a Thai series set in Nam-ngam District, a remote northern border region where a river divides two neighboring countries. Dam, a boy abandoned by his mother, grows up under the care of Luang Por Singto, the temple abbot who raises him with discipline and martial arts training. Dam masters Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong before taking monastic vows. The story unfolds in this peaceful temple community, exploring themes of family, tradition, and belonging in a landscape shaped by natural beauty and cultural heritage. As Dam navigates his dual life between martial prowess and spiritual devotion, the series examines what it means to find home and purpose in an isolated corner of Thailand.
